What Can You Expect as a CompassCare Client?

  • Prior to starting service, and prior to placement of our CompassCare Assistants (CCAs), a member of our Client Care Team and one of our Quality Assurance Team Members conduct a detailed intake which enables us to uncover challenges and to develop a plan of care to best overcome those challenges. Further, we seek to very clearly understand how our clients would like to interact with our CCAs as well as their preferences as to how our CCAs are to assist them in their own homes.

  • CompassCare believes that you don't need to sacrifice your freedom, independence and autonomy simply because you need some help in your life. ​ We recognize that each of us wants to be the authors of our own life story, right up to the very end, and we work closely with our clients to ensure this is possible.

  • All new clients are asked to complete a detailed Client Questionnaire. This is matched against our highly-trained caregiver profiles using our proprietary matching algorithm to ensure the best possible potential match between the client and their concierge home care aide. We take great care to place the right caregiver with the right client.

  • CompassCare provides the highest level of personalized, professional, and hospitality-trained personal assistance and concierge care in the market today. Focusing exclusively on evidence-based solutions and services, gathered during 30 plus years of research, our training program is unique in the industry. It equips each of our CCAs with all of the tools necessary for building and nurturing a caregiving relationship based on respect, dignity, and independence. In addition, our CCAs are also given specialized training for working with clients with memory challenges, and palliative/end of life care.  

  • All of our CompassCare Assistants are Red Cross certified in CPR and First Aid. We conduct a rigorous vetting process with our CCAs before they are hired: a minimum of two rounds of personal interviews; competency testing, personality testing, state and national background checks; DMV driving record checks; drug testing and vaccination record checks. All of our CCAs are fully bonded and insured. Most importantly, they truly have a passion for home concierge care and they’re proud to call this their profession.
