Each CCA will be assigned a Divvy card. This card is to be used for purchases that are made for clients, so that you will not need to use cash or credit card. This card is like a credit card, so keep it safe! When you receive your Divvy card, follow these instructions:
Take your temperature every day before reporting to work. If your temperature is 100.4 F or higher, do not report to work. Contact the RN, Mary Judge (firstname.lastname@example.org) immediately.
Wear a mask while commuting to a client’s home.
Wear a mask at all times while in a client’s home, unless you are in a segregated space, for example, in a separate room.
Remove yourshoes when entering a client’s home. You should bring slippers to wear.
Wash your handsimmediately after arriving and before greeting client.
Say hello to your client but do not offer to shake hands.
Wash hands frequently (for 20 seconds) during your shift.
Wash hands before and after serving client meals or refreshments.
Wash hands before putting on gloves and after removing gloves.
Use proper technique when putting on gloves and removing them.
Wipe down hard surfaces with a disinfectant, including side rails, over bed tray, tables, phone, remote controls or any other hard surface the client, you or others use.
Use Bleach or Lysol to clean if available. If not available, use white vinegar.
Dispose of gloves properly. Use a new pair of gloves each time you provide personal care.
Use the dishwasher, or if the dishwasher is unavailable clean dishes, glassware, and utensils by hand, using hot water while wearing gloves.
Wipe down and disinfect all parcels or groceries that are delivered to client’s home. This includes anything made of cardboard, including cereal boxes, grocery bags, and egg cartons.
Do not take client out for non-essential travel.

After hours or on weekends, please direct calls to the AOD first. If the AOD does not pick up immediately, leave a voicemail and send a text. THEN please call the BAOD. If the BAOD does not pick up, please leave a voicemail and send a text.
