Opportunities for Current Employees

Dear CompassCare Colleagues,

New York State has mandated that employees of home care services agencies be vaccinated against COVID-19, with the first dose for current personnel received by October 7, 2021. This mandate affects all CompassCare employees who work in New York State. In order to effectively plan care for our clients, CompassCare is requiring that all employees do the following by September 20, 2021:

CompassCare employees who choose not to be vaccinated, and who are working with clients in New York, must be replaced no later than October 7, 2021, as per the mandate. There are no exceptions to this mandate, so medical and religious exceptions cannot be considered.  Unvaccinated employees may continue to work in Connecticut and New Jersey at this time, provided the client does not require a vaccinated caregiver. We will continue to monitor government regulations, and will provide updates as changes continue to be made.

As a reminder, all employees must continue to follow the COVID Employee Policy, which can be found on our Employee Portal at https://carewhenyouneedit.com/work/.

Please contact me with questions.
